Adam Pendleton uses text-based screen print paintings and performance art to explore the critical use of language, conceptual art, and activism.
He has had solo exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Pace Gallery in Hong Kong and Seoul, South Korea. His work is in the collections of the Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver, among others.
