Caroline Minchew uses historical landscape as a guide for connection and story; she explores natural spaces through photography and psychogeography.

Caroline Minchew (b. 1992) is a lens-based artist. She received her MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and BA from Sewanee University of the South. She has attended residences at NARS Foundation, ChaNorth, Mudhouse Arts, Penland School of Arts and Crafts, and Burren College of Art. Her work has been exhibited most recently at NARS Foundation, Candela Gallery, and The Anderson. Caroline’s photographs are housed in the permanent collections of the National Museum of American History and the National Gallery of Art Photograph Study Collection in Washington, DC. Currently she is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art at Sewanee.
