Isabelle Abbot uses painting to explore the world around her and, through the tools of brush and paint, come to a deeper understanding of the landscapes she’s connected to.
Abbot grew up in Greenwood, Virginia and studied art at the University of Virginia with painters Richard Crozier and Philip Geiger. She earned her Masters in Fine Arts in Painting from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro in 2011.
