Stacey uses photography to explore the cultural significance of diverse landscapes, reflecting her upbringing in Waynesboro, VA.
She received a BFA in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her work is in the collections of the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, AZ, the University of Virginia Medical Center, and Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, among others. Her awards include a grant from the Puffin Foundation and a scholarship from LOOK3 Education Week. Presently, she is an adjunct faculty member at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, where she teaches and continues her artistic practice focused on capturing the evolving relationship between people and the land.
