Fiona Ross uses sculpture and ceramics to explore themes of materiality, process, and meaning. 
She received a BA in English Literature from Fordham University in 1987, an M.S.T. from Fordham University in 1988, and an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2001. Her work is in the collections of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Capital One, and the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, among others. Her awards include the International Fellowship from the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Ireland and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Professional Fellowship. Presently, she is an adjunct professor at the University of Richmond, where she teaches sculpture.
