Ryan Syrell uses painting to explore the relationship between haptics, perception, and the recollection of sensory information.
She received her BFA from SUNY Purchase College in Painting and Drawing and her MFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ryan’s solo exhibitions include numerous shows at Page Bond Gallery, the Bromo Seltzer Tower, and the Guest Spot at the ReInstitute.
